Must Have Travel Apps
For the jetsetter in you. Here's a list of some our favorite travel apps you should download right now.
1. Hopper: Don't miss out on a great flight deal! The cool thing about Hopper is that you can put in your destination and then let the app work its magic. Hopper will tell you the best time to buy your flight or if you're flexible show you fares for a variety of dates over the next few months. Only downside is no access to flights on Southwest (check out Momondo if that's a must).
2. Mobile Passport: Want to breeze through customs when returning back to the United States? Then download this app asap. No need to fill out forms or stand in long lines. You must be a U.S. or Canadian citizen to use this app. The only downside is that it is currently only available to use at 27 U.S. international airports.
3. WhatsApp: No matter your location or phone plan, text for free with this app. Just make sure you have access to wi-fi and you're good to go and make sure whoever you're texting has it downloaded as well.
4. Google Translate: Another one of my personal faves. I frequently used this app while in Guadeloupe. Type in what you need translated, speak into the mic, or simply snap a photo of that menu you can't understand. This app will translate almost any language for you in seconds with mostly accurate results.
